The Beginning

As a creative photographer who specialises in conceptual portraiture I get asked a lot of questions about my work. Probably the most common is 'How do you come with your ideas?' and 'How do you turn your ideas into a photograph?'. I am generally not good with words - this is why I make pictures. So instead of trying to explain to you how my brain works I've decided a good place to start with this blog is to go step by step with a shoot I am about to embark upon, so you can see my thought processes in real time rather than me recount a shoot I've already done.

So without further ado - lets begin with what is currently called  'The Brigettes Boutique photoshoot'.

The lovely ladies over at Brigettes Boutique sent me a package with these items in:
Picture
So the mission if I choose to accept it is to use these items in a photoshoot and give a review of the products. I am a sucker for shiny things and love a good challenge, so without a doubt mission accepted!

Stay tuned for initial ideas and the musings of my brain as now I start formulating a concept!

I have a Bachelor Degree in Visual Art (BVA) specialising in photography. I photograph, paint     and  draw – I love to create and portraying the world as I see it. I am a mother of one and a child at heart.

I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I have experience in many areas of photography but I specialise in conceptual portraiture, retouching old family photographs and making your dreams come true as
    The Dream Weaver.
